韓国国家情報院「北朝鮮がロシアに追加派兵、早ければ7~8月の見通し」
South Korea's National Intelligence Service: North Korea to send additional troops to Russia as early as July-August
South Korea's National Intelligence Service predicted that North Korea's additional deployment of troops to Russia could occur as early as July or August. North Korea has also provided Russia with approximately 10 million artillery shells, missiles, long-range guns and other weapons.
The National Assembly Intelligence Committee's secretaries, Rep. Park Seong-won of the Democratic Party of Korea and Rep. Lee Seong-kwon of the People Power Party, said that the NIS had reported the issue on that day.
The NIS's basis for predicting that North Korea will send additional troops in July or August is the recent visit to North Korea by Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian National Security Council.
Rep. Lee Seong-kwon said, "This is because the first troop deployment in the past also took place one month after Secretary-General Sergei Shoigu visited North Korea."
Secretary General Sergei Shoigu visited North Korea on the 17th and met with Kim Jong Eun.
After meeting with the Chairman of the Security Council, he revealed that they had agreed to send a total of 6,000 North Korean engineer troops and military construction personnel to the Kursk region of Russia.
In addition, North Korea has mobilized ships and military aircraft to Russia to deliver approximately 10 million artillery shells, missiles, long-range artillery, etc.
In response, Russia provided economic cooperation and technological support, including radio jamming equipment for air defense missiles, space launch vehicle engines, drones, and improved missile guidance capabilities.
The NIS recently reported that there was no abnormal reaction from North Korea after the US bombed Iran's nuclear facility, but the NIS is concerned about how North Korea will respond in the future.
Regarding the extent of damage to Iran's nuclear facilities in a U.S. attack, the NIS said the destructive power could be completely different depending on the presence or absence of soil, geology, and rocks.
They reported that they understood it to a diverse range of purposes, focusing on the fact that it can be understood in a variety of ways.
