New resident doctor representative: ”Seeking to normalize medical care... Further increasing communication” = South Korea

Chairman Han made this strong statement to reporters ahead of the provisional general meeting of the National Council of Medical Associations held at the Seoul Medical Association that afternoon.
Chairman Han explained the purpose of the delegates' meeting by saying, "This is a forum to reflect the opinions of medical residents and to explore ways to normalize medical care."
The committee will decide on the composition and operation of a new emergency response committee and approval of regional councils, and is also expected to reach a consensus on how to respond to issues of concern to the medical community.
Chairman Han was elected as the new emergency response committee chairman at the online extraordinary general assembly of lawmakers on the 26th.
Immediately after being appointed chairman of the emergency response committee, Han said, "I will work to increase communication and ensure that the opinions of internal medical residents are properly reflected."
Chairman Han, who had pointed out the lack of communication with former emergency response committee chairman Park Dan, emphasized active internal communication and the anti-government struggle of the emergency response committee.
The policy is also expected to change. In particular, unlike the previous chairman Park, who was an ultra-hardliner, Chairman Han has placed emphasis on communication and dialogue, which has led to a stalemate between the medical community and the government among medical specialists.
There are speculations that the conflict situation may be entering a new phase.
