[Official Interview] ”NINE.i” takes a new step and delivers sincerity this summer...An interview just before the special live performance

The boy band "NINE.i" will hold the "2025 NINE.i SPECIAL LIVE EVENT IN JAPAN" in two cities, Osaka and Tokyo, in July.
SEASON SUMMER STORY PARTY". Since their debut in 2022, they have been creating their own music genre called "Nine Eye Pop", and have been active in everything from song production to the stage.
In 2024, they successfully promoted their band across Japan, held a Zepp tour, and even held a release event for their first single, "Mirage."
NINE.i has steadily built up a fan base in Japan. With their new song "More or Less" released in June, they will hold a special event to brighten up the Japanese summer with even stronger bonds in their hearts.
We asked the members about their thoughts and new resolutions for the live show. Q.
With the title "PARTY" in mind, what kind of story do you want to tell your fans on this stage?
Please tell us about the "summer story" you want to share through this performance. Idun: We want to show our "sincerity" through this performance. Rather than a lot of words, we want to show our sincerity on stage.
We believe that our energy will convey our feelings! Our love for i.ENIN (fans). And the "Summer Story" we want to share on this tour is exactly the "passion" of us, NINE.i.
I think that passion will make this summer even hotter! Taehun: I think this stage is like a "summer movie" that i.ENIN and I made together!
Each and every performance is filled with the feelings of how much NINE.i cares about i.ENIN, and how much they want to make this hot summer a precious memory.
This story would never be complete without ENIN, so we promise to stay with you until the end! Let's get through this hot summer with all our might!!
Q. What kind of "new side" do you want to show your fans at this event? Is there anything in particular you want them to pay attention to, such as the set list or performance?
Berry: Through this event, we hope to show a more mature NINE.i performance!
In particular, at this event, they will be performing their new song "More or Less" on stage for the first time, so please come along!
Please look forward to it! Q. Please tell us if there is anything you would like to do or are looking forward to while you are in Japan this summer.
Jiho: There are a lot of festivals in Japan this summer, so I'd like to enjoy them with the members!
I've hardly ever been to a festival, so I'd really like to go. Q. In "Maybe," which was released in June, there are messages of trust and bonds for the future.
I think that the theme is contained in this song. Please tell us what message you wanted to convey to the i.ENIN members through this song.
Bang: This song contains a message that i.ENIN, who have walked alongside "NINE.i", can relate to and feel hopeful about.
It's a song that touches the heart, where we can share the feelings we've had, sometimes crying, sometimes laughing, as we experience joy, sadness, and all kinds of emotions together.
Q. I think 2025 will be a new start for "NINE.i." What are the important thoughts of the group now and your enthusiasm for your future activities?
MINJOO: I think 2025 is a very important year for us at NINE.i. Looking back on the time we've spent together, I've realized just how important our team is to us.
We have had many changes and difficulties, but I feel that we have become stronger as a team.
I have been able to come this far thanks to i.ENIN's constant support and encouragement, and for the rest of 2025, I want to give back to them with more diverse performances and amazing shows.
This summer, NINE.i will deliver a "story" to the fans. Throughout the nine performances in Tokyo and Osaka, NINE.i will be telling a "summer story" that will deepen their bond with their fans.
