The live concert was held in Osaka and Tokyo, entitled "JAPAN". In between her busy schedule, she spoke candidly about her thoughts on the third anniversary of her debut and her past experiences.
Q. You're holding a 3rd anniversary concert, and this weekend is your debut anniversary! Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary! How do you feel right now?
Berry: It doesn't really feel like it's been three years since our debut, but through these three years of activity, not only the members but also i.ENIN (the group head of NINE.i) have really grown up.
I think I was able to make a lot of happy memories with all of you (fan names). I think it will be a perfect memory for the period called "youth", and I hope that I can continue to make a lot of happy memories with the members and iE
I want to make wonderful memories with NIN. Idoun: Time passes so quickly, and it doesn't really feel like three years have passed since our debut, but
Over the past three years, I've been able to make a lot of memories with the members and i.ENIN. Q. Looking back at your debut day three years ago, how have your feelings changed compared to now?
MINJOOON: On the day of our debut three years ago, I was so nervous that I was shaking. I still get nervous and excited, but I want to shine on stage, so I enjoy it even more.
Sowon: When I first debuted, I was full of passion and had a strong desire to try anything, but now that I've experienced various stages and activities,
I feel like I have become a little more relaxed. I also feel like I have become better at controlling my own mind. However, I have become more cautious when making choices.
Q. What does this concert mean to you? Idun: First of all, I'm very happy that we were able to hold this concert on our third anniversary.
I am also very happy to have had the opportunity to interact with i.ENIN through the stage. When I perform on stage, I sometimes receive energy from the fans, but also from myself.
Sometimes we deliver energy to the audience. I really enjoy these interactions, and I'm looking forward to this live performance.
Q. This stage can be said to be the culmination of three years of work. What points did you pay particular attention to?
What scenes would you like fans to see? Taehun: Up until now, we have often shown our group as a whole, but for our third anniversary, we want to emphasize each member's individuality and charm.
We wanted to show them how we could do this, so we've prepared a few unit stages. We hope to bring new fun to the group through these.
Jiho: For this 3rd anniversary live, we will be preparing a unit stage and a group stage.
We hope that you will not only be able to see our charms, but also enjoy the performance of our unit members that you have never seen before.
Q. While preparing for the live show, were there any memorable episodes or behind-the-scenes stories that you could share with us?
Berry: (All in Japanese) I had so many things I wanted to do while preparing for this show, so I decided to make a special
We will be performing a total of four stages, two units and two costumes. It was a little difficult to prepare for it, but the members were with us, so we were able to prepare very enjoyably.
I've been working hard on my preparations, so I'm really nervous about performing in front of you all. Sowon: I'll be performing a unit stage with Ideun hyung.
This was our first time on stage, so we had a hard time choosing the song. In the end, we chose a song by a senior who is very famous in Japan. This song was a good way to show off our combination.
I think the key point was the duet dance, and our well-coordinated performance really stood out on stage.
Q. As your activities in Japan increase, do you feel there is a change in your relationship with your fans?
MINJOO: When we did the encore stage, all the i.ENIN members stood up and
When I see them having fun together, I feel like we can communicate with each other even without words, and it makes me happy and makes me feel like we've gotten closer.
Jiho: I usually miss all the members of i.ENIN, but I'm glad I get to see them so often through the concerts.
I feel like I've gotten closer to you all every time, and I'm very happy about that. Q. Please tell us what you've learned from your Japanese fans over the past three years, or if there are any touching stories you've had.
Idun: I think Japanese fans are really warm-hearted and have great manners. No matter what song is playing, they sing along and give us enthusiastic support.
It's very impressive to see them doing this. Seeing that, I feel like I have a lot to learn from the fans. Q. In what way do you feel you have grown the most in the past three years?
Bang: The area where I feel we have grown the most so far is definitely our live performances. Compared to when we debuted, the number of performances has really increased, and the performance
Their skills have also improved a lot. I think that their vocals, dancing, and the overall quality of their live performances are also improving.
MINJOOn: In terms of performance, I feel that my skills have definitely improved as I've gained more experience.
I myself am a shy person, so at first I was a little embarrassed to interact with my fans, but now I can relax and communicate with them naturally.
Q. Going into your fourth year, what new challenges or goals would you like to take on as a group?
Taehun: Up until now we have shown our individual charms, but from now on
We want to bring all of this together and show our fans a new side of NINE.i that they have never seen before. That is our current goal.
Bang: Also, for our next album, we will be incorporating concepts and images that we have never tried before, and show a new side of ourselves.
Q. Finally, please give us a message for the fans who have supported you for the past three years!
Berry: (All in Japanese) The biggest thing I thought while promoting was that we should be like this now.
The reason we can perform on stage like this is all thanks to i.ENIN. We always get a lot of support and love from i.ENIN, so we want to use this as energy.
I want to work hard and show everyone a better performance. Idun: First of all, we want to repay the fans for their support with our performances.
I feel that way the most. If you continue to support me a little longer, I will work harder and become an idol who can live up to your expectations. Thank you so much.
Bang: We've been on many stages so far, but we've always enjoyed playing the same songs and kept the excitement high.
We are really grateful for the excitement that you have shown us. If you continue to enjoy the show with us, we will be able to raise our energy even higher and show you a great performance.
MINJOOON: i.ENIN members are always there to support us, whether we're happy or struggling. I hope we can continue to give you wonderful memories and precious times.
I will do my best to make it happen, so I hope you will continue to support me. Taehun: Personally, I think it's really hard to spend time and energy on someone.
However, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the i.ENINs who give us their unsparing love without asking for anything in return, simply because they love us.
Sowon: First of all, I want to say thank you for always being by our side and supporting us and sending us love no matter what the situation.
I am really happy to receive such love, and even when I feel sad, tired, or like giving up, I look at i.ENIN and get the strength to get back up.
I want to tell you that I will be with you forever. It's a promise. Jiho: I always say this, but I will continue to grow and work hard, and I will show you more of my efforts. And, i.ENIN's
I will do my best to bring lots of happiness to you all.
