Trafalgar Releasing is a documentary film about the BTS fandom ARMY called "BTS ARMY: FOREVER".
The film will be released worldwide on July 30th.
This feature-length documentary was co-directed by K-POP researcher and director Patty Ahn and features over 9 million fans.
The film focuses on the passion and bond of ARMY, the official fan club of BTS, which has 1,000 members. The film is about fans who are active in various cities such as Seoul, Los Angeles, Texas, and Mexico City.
Together with Tory, he is a dance instructor in Seoul who teaches BTS choreography, a participant in the fan-centered concert "ReactorCon," and a global group that has been voluntarily organized since 2013.
Through the example of a fan community, we will explore the new social energy that the community known as "fandom" represents.
The film will have its world premiere at SXSW (South by Southwest) in 2025, where it will be shown to audiences.
The film drew enthusiastic responses and standing applause, and was praised by fans and critics alike. It was subsequently shown at international film festivals in Copenhagen, Mexico, Hawaii, Los Angeles, and elsewhere, drawing great interest.
