Jo Yuri reveals behind-the-scenes footage of ”Squid Game 3”... ”A meal every time someone dies”

Singer and actress Jo Yuri (formerly of IZ*ONE) will reveal behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of “Squid Game Season 3.”

On the 12th at 11:10 PM KST, MBC's variety show 'Omniscient Interfering View' Episode 355 will air, featuring Jo Yuri's daily life as she shines as a scene-stealer in the recently released Netflix drama “Squid Game Season 3”.

During the recent filming, Jo Yuri met actor Lee Da-wi, who also appeared in “Squid Game 3.”

Although the two never overlapped on set, they revealed that they became close through frequent meals together, and shared various behind-the-scenes stories, from the first script reading to the filming methods for the game in question. Jo Yuri drew laughter with her remark, “We had a meal every time someone died in the show.”

Jo Yuri, who took on the role of a pregnant woman in “Squid Game 3,” shared that she made extraordinary efforts to immerse herself in the character, including referencing her mother's actual parenting diary and practicing at an amusement park, as maternal expression was crucial for the role. She also shared her thoughts on filming alongside renowned actors like Lee Byung-hun and Lee Jung-jae.

Meanwhile, the broadcast also featured the meeting between Jo Yuri and creator Chimchakman. Known as a passionate fan of Chimchakman, Cho Yuri couldn't hide her nervousness and suddenly confessed, “I really like you,” showcasing her strong fandom. The two also performed a live broadcast together, and their chemistry can be seen through the “omniscient meddling perspective.”
