"The special prosecutor attempted to execute an arrest warrant for former President Yoon Seok-yeol, but he stubbornly refused, and the attempt to forcibly detain him failed within two hours," he said.
Chief Spokesperson Park said, "Yoon Seok-yeol was lying on the floor without even wearing a prison uniform and enduring the situation, just like a child.
The people of South Korea have long felt miserable at the deterioration of the former president, but his decline has no end, and now he is literally ugly.
"I think other inmates who saw the former president enduring the enforcement of legitimate public authority while being forced to do so might also try to resist the enforcement of the law," he added.
"It's scary to think that former President Yoon's refusal to execute an arrest warrant issued by the court is the very image of a mastermind of a civil war who denies constitutional order," he said.
"Any further understanding or consideration given to the ringleader of the civil unrest would literally be preferential treatment," Park said.
"I hope that Special Prosecutor Min Jung-ki will show even more firmness before the enforcement of the law," he said. "There is still time left on the warrant. The Special Prosecutor must arrest the mastermind of the rebellion, Yoon Seok-yeol, and demonstrate the strictness of the law."
