SM ENTERTAINMENT JAPAN's first virtual artist surprises trainees on SMTOWN! Official YouTube channel X also launched!
SM Entertainment Japan (hereinafter referred to as SMEJ) and STUDIO REALIVE (hereinafter referred to as SRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of SM Entertainment, have unveiled their first virtual artist trainees.
On Saturday, August 9th, during the “SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in TOKYO” event held at Tokyo Dome, a teaser video of the trainees was unexpectedly released. Additionally, official YouTube and X accounts were launched.
Following the release, many people participated in a crossword quiz where participants could enter the trainee's name by scanning the QR code in the teaser video. Comments such as “Looking forward to SM's virtual artist,” “Hope they debut soon,” “Want to see collaborations with various IPs including naevis,” and “Looking forward to meeting them at SMTOWN” have already sparked buzz.
Details about the members will be gradually revealed on the official YouTube and X channels in the coming weeks. The debut is scheduled for this fall.
