DAY6 appears on variety show '2 Days & 1 Night'... Dowoon says, ”Kim Jung Min is my role model”

The band DAY6 will appear on the variety show “1 Night 2 Days” and go on a trip.

On the 24th, KBS2TV's variety show 2 Days & 1 Night Season 4 (hereinafter referred to as “2 Days & 1 Night 4”) will air in South Korea, featuring the regular members of 2 Days & 1 Night 4 and DAY6's Songjin, Young.K, Wonpil, and Dowoon on a trip titled “Welcome to the Real Variety Show!”

On this day, the 2 Days & 1 Night members were surprised when DAY6 made a surprise appearance during the opening, but they greeted them with a mix of confusion and joy, quickly welcoming the guests. DAY6 explained, “September 7th marks our 10th anniversary since debut. We wanted to show our fans a better side of ourselves, which is why we decided to appear on the show,” revealing the reason behind their full-fledged appearance on 2 Days & 1 Night.

The members of DAY6 mentioned that they are fans of 2 Days & 1 Night and have built a close relationship with the six members. In particular, Young.K mentioned Lee Jun's legendary moment, saying, “Lee Jun was really bad at games. His 10 consecutive wrong answers were legendary,” confirming that he is a passionate viewer of 2 Days & 1 Night.

Meanwhile, Dowoon couldn't hide his joy when his long-time role model Kim Jong-min finally appeared in a two-shot with him. Mun Se-yoon and DinDin, who had been closely observing this, officially acknowledged the resemblance between Do-un and Kim Jong-min, saying, “They look alike when they open their mouths,” and “They look alike when they smile.”

DAY6, who embarked on a genuine journey with the 2 Days & 1 Night team, approached the mission with a strong competitive spirit, giving their all and showing their serious side on 2 Days & 1 Night. They also demonstrated an unexpected sense of variety, further enlivening the atmosphere on set.
