The character poster for the movie "Oniichi" has been released. The movie depicts the eerie story of people trying to get what they don't have at the ghost trading market "Oniichi" that opens when the fox door opens.
The released poster depicts Dong-sik (played by You Chae-Myung), a police officer who embarks on a reckless investigation to make up for his mistakes, and Chae-woo, a man driven by the desire to become more perfect.
Heejin (played by Seo Young-hee), who enters into a forbidden deal to help her daughter succeed; Moo-dan (played by Won Hyun-jun), who connects the world of ghosts with the human world; and the writer's dream.
Mi-yeon (Sola, MAMAMOO) chases after the suspect and gets caught up in a mysterious incident; Yoon-gon (Cha Seon-Woo, Baro, B1A4), a rookie police officer, follows a reckless investigation in order to gain recognition;
Suyeong (played by Bae Sumin), a high school student preparing for entrance exams, Eun-seo (played by Seo Ji-soo of "LOVELYZ"), who is self-conscious about her looks and gets involved in dangerous business dealings, and Eun-jin (played by Seo Ji-soo of "LOVELYZ"), a foreign student who dreams of becoming an influencer.
The film is expected to feature nine unique characters, including a young woman named Jung Joon-soo (played by Jung Joon-soo), and a young man named Kim Jong-soo (played by Jung Joon-soo).
First, the film captures the moment when Mi-yeon, driven by her curiosity and dream of becoming a famous writer, heads towards the big wooden house, vividly portraying the ominous aura that hangs over the quietness of the rural village.
Along with the tagline, "You want a perfect appearance no matter what the cost," CHAE WON shows an obsessive gaze at himself in the mirror, evoking an end to obsession with appearance.
The video teases the horror of the future. Eun-seo casts a sharp gaze from behind her black sunglasses with the caption, "Do you want to be beautiful no matter what the cost?" and shows a suspicious person entangled with a courier from an unknown sender.
This raises concerns. Mother and daughter Heejin and Suyeong each have different desires and resolve towards each other. Along with the tagline, "Do you want your daughter to attend a prestigious university no matter what the cost?"
Heejin, with an anxious expression, is a mother obsessed with going to the forbidden market, while Suyeong, with a cold expression and an unfathomable sense of anxiety, is a student taking entrance exams who must bear the price with all her heart.
The film creates tension by showing the harsh reality. You Chae Myung and Cha Seon Woo clearly show the contrast between the two characters who are struggling to uncover the truth of the incident. Dong Sik says, "I will do whatever it takes to get the truth out of this case."
Along with the tagline "I want a chance to take it," Yoon Gun shows his tenacity and recklessness with a sharp expression, showing the image of a rookie police officer who is immature but has sincere courage.
Standing under the bright lights, Eunjin raises expectations as to how her obsession with view counts will open the door to yet another horror.
Finally, the mudan "Paksu" that permeates the world of "Goblin City" asks viewers, "Do you really want it no matter what the price?"
He asks questions that cannot be refused by the people, and leaves a powerful impression as a being that connects the world of humans and demons. "Ghost City" is scheduled to be released in theaters in Korea on the 17th.
