Wook (Wook) and Mi-young (Lee Sung-Kyoung) once again found comfort in each other, but there was no time to return to normal life as divisions within Myeongsan Industrial and the extreme conflict with Samjung Construction continued, increasing tension.
Mi-yeon falls into deep sorrow while caring for her mother at her deathbed, and Seok-cheol visits the funeral home to comfort her. After parting ways for a while, the two become lovers again, confirming their true feelings for each other and rekindling their feelings.
They even planned a trip to calm her down. However, the crisis intensified as San-yeol (Han Jae-young) began his plot to target Myung-san Business.
Taking advantage of Chan-seong's (Lee Moon Sik) worsening condition, San-yeol tries to take control of the company and mobilizes his gang members to lure Seok-cheol.
In the end, Seok-cheol is attacked by a mysterious man at the terminal before he is reunited with Mi-yeon. While suspicion falls on Samjung Construction and Tae-hoon (Park Hoon), the identity of the culprit is surprisingly revealed to be Seok-cheol.
It is revealed that the man in question is Woo-seok (Oh Seung-baek), a high school student who said he respected Cheol.
