Two years have passed since the late Kang Soo Yeon left us. Actress Kang Soo Yeon passed away on May 7, 2022. She was 55 years old.
The deceased had previously collapsed due to a cerebral hemorrhage at around 5:48 pm on May 5th at his home in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
After that, she was in a coma for three days and underwent hospital treatment, but finally closed her eyes.
This is the first time a Korean actor has received this award at an overseas film festival.
She won the Best Actress Award again at the Moscow International Film Festival for her role in "Parakattee."
She also gained popularity through the 2001 SBS TV series "Ladies of the Palace." She stopped acting after the 2013 film "Julie" and has been in the entertainment industry for about three years since 2015.
He served as co-executive chairman of the Busan International Film Festival. In 2022, he is scheduled to return to acting in director Yeon Sang-ho's Netflix film "JUNG_E."
