South Korean ruling party leader Han Dong-hoon raises 150 million won in donations in just 8 minutes

Han Dong-hoon, former chairman of the ruling party's emergency response committee, who is running for the party leadership election to be held on July 23, raised the maximum amount of 150 million won in just eight minutes after the start of fundraising.
On the 2nd, the support group for former Chairman Han said, "We opened a donation account at 9 a.m. that day, and just eight minutes later, the maximum amount of 150 million won had been raised.
This is the same as when Lee Jae-myung, the head of the main opposition Democratic Party, ran for the party leadership election in 2022, and withdrew 150 million won within two hours of opening his account.
The reason why Han was able to collect donations so quickly is because, like Lee, he was supported by a group of “political fandom” (a group of passionate fans).
Han is the only politician from the conservative camp who has formed a political fandom.
