SHINee's Minho takes on his first acting role in ”Waiting for Godot”... ”I'm excited”

Korean boy band SHINee's Minho is taking on a new challenge. Minho was in the dressing room of the play "Waiting for Godot" and was eager to take the stage in place of the main characters.
He has been cast in the role of "Bal" in the play "Waiting for Godot," which depicts the understudies (stand-in actors) who wait in vain. This will be his first time on stage since his debut.
It has been a big hot topic. Minho plays Bal, a straightforward yet pure character who struggles to become a true actor by talking with Esther about art, life, and theater.
Minho said, "It's a project I've always wanted to do, and I'm looking forward to working with Lee Seung-jae, who I respect.
I am nervous but excited to be able to work in sync with the characters. I will work hard to bring these emotions into balance and create a great drama. I hope my sincerity will reach the audience."
"Waiting for Godot" attracted attention with Minho's appearance, and was a homage to "Waiting for Godot" with excellent humor and witty lines.
The film has garnered rave reviews for unravelling the original story in an easier and more enjoyable way, and will open at three YES24Stage theaters from September 7th.
