On the 10th, the prosecution summarily indicted Suga with a fine of 15 million won. Suga, who is currently serving as a community service officer, was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on the 6th of last month at 11:15 p.m.
He is accused of being drunk and riding an electric scooter near his home in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, around 2:00 p.m.
When he was found by the police, his blood alcohol content was 0.227%, and he was found to be in a "deep drunk" state. Under the Road Traffic Act, if your blood alcohol content is 0.08% or higher, you cannot get a driver's license.
The penalty will be cancellation, imprisonment of one to two years, and a fine of 5 million won (approximately JPY 540,000) to 10 million won (approximately JPY 1.1 million).
However, if it exceeds 0.2%, the penalty is between 2 and 5 years in prison, and between 10 million won and 20 million won (approximately 2.1 million yen).
