The funeral procession of the late Song Jae-rim took place privately today (14th) amid ongoing mourning.

Late actor Song Jae-rim will be laid to rest forever today (14th).

The coffin ceremony for the late Song Jae-rim will be held at 12pm on the 14th at the funeral home of the Holy Mother Hospital in Yeoido, Seoul. The burial site is Seoul Municipal Sunhwa Won (Ascension House). At the request of the bereaved family, the coffin ceremony will be held privately.

Song Jae-rim was found dead at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the 12th. A suicide note worth two A4 sheets of paper was found at the scene.

It was understood that the deceased was found by a friend with whom he had promised lunch. The police, who were dispatched on the report of the friend, are investigating the death of Song Jae-rim. To date, there is no suspicion of another murder.

Song Jae-rim was born in 1985 and made his face known in the 2012 MBC drama ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’, and has since acted in ‘Handsome Ramen Restaurant’, ‘The Age of Excitement: The Birth of a Fighting God’, ‘Two Weeks’, ‘Women Who Are Not Nice’, ‘Perfect Couple: Love is Trial and Error’, the film ‘Nightshade - Operation Relentless Industry’ and Mikki (Bait)’ and other activities. He also appeared on stage through the play ‘The Rose of Versailles’, which ended on the 13th October.

Song Jae-rim's most recent work is the TVing drama ‘Queen Yu’, which was released in August.
