The movie "Crash", which is scheduled to be released in Korea on January 15 next year, is a crime drama based on the true story of the cryptocurrency crash that shocked the world when 50 trillion won disappeared.
Through the chronicle of a young entrepreneur who makes an irreversible decision, the film depicts the behind-the-scenes of startup investment and the reality of young people who get caught up in the idea of getting rich quick with stocks during the day and coins at night.
The stills of "Crash" that were released are about the protagonist Yang Yong-hyun, a cryptocurrency developer named "MOMMY" and a self-proclaimed genius businessman, who is playing Song Jae Lim.
The film depicts the gradual decline of the company from 2009 to 2023. The company misused the youth, women, and disability bonus points to fraudulently receive youth entrepreneurship support funds, and deliberately caused its business to go bankrupt and close down.
In particular, the movie "Crash" is based on a real case that has produced many victims and has yet to be conclusively decided by the judicial system.
The production was supported by the Korea Creative Content Agency's New Media Content Division, and was produced under a thorough investigation and legal consultation based on legal precedents.
