In a recent interview with Herald POP at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul, Hyun Bin said, "I want to make the movie 'Harbin' go well for my son.
On that day, Hyun Bin said, "My wife must have been lonely (since we had to spend time apart for filming), but due to the nature of the work, it's not an easy one.
"I know that as a fellow actor, so when I finished, the words 'thank you for your hard work' gave me a lot of strength," he said. "I was touched that he said that to me, even though it must have been difficult for my wife.
He continued, "My child was born before I started this film, but when he grows up to be old enough to watch it later, he will think, 'When you were born, Korea was making films about characters like this.'
"I want to tell them, 'I'm glad I did it,'" he said, adding, "I also wanted to make a good movie for my children."
Hyun Bin added, "Right now, I'm just an ordinary father. I'm just like any other father. I'm still thinking about what kind of father I'll be."
As I've gotten older, I've become closer to my father, but I've always wondered whether I want a father who's like a friend or a strict father."
Meanwhile, Hyun Bin's screen comeback film "Harbin" depicts the story of those heading to Harbin in 1909 for one purpose and those chasing them.
The film depicts a tense chase and suspicion and is scheduled to be released in Korea on the 24th of this month.
