"10,000 Kilometers" is based on the true story of Kim Dan, a young North Korean defector who traveled through China and Southeast Asia before settling in South Korea and becoming a world-renowned human rights lawyer.
In the drama, Shin Yong-beom plays the role of Jin-hyuk, a young North Korean defector who overcomes extreme hardships to become a world-renowned human rights lawyer.
He is expected to deliver a deep acting performance by delicately expressing the anguish, anger, and hope that Jin-hyuk experiences between the various factions.
Shin Yong-beom made his debut in the Netflix series "DP - Deserter Tracker"
Last year, he played the mysterious character Jung Dae Heon in tvN's "Wedding Impossible" and played a key role as a scene tailor, catching the attention of viewers with his conflict with Lee Do Han (played by Kim Do Wan).
