The lead actress, Kwak Sung-yeon, and Yuri appeared on the show. Yuri said, "I was thinking about how to portray the character's character and her troubled life, but I decided to make it a dark and rough one.
"I wanted to look like a grey-skinned human," she said about her role. Yuri also said that over 60% of her costume was made with her own clothes, and added, "They prepared a lot for me, but I'll bring it if I have it."
