BTS' JIMIN's ”MUSE” surpasses 3 billion streams on Spotify in the shortest time in Korean album history, a ”big record”
BTS' JIMIN has set a new record by becoming the fastest Korean album to reach 3 billion streams on Spotify.
JIMIN's second solo album "MUSE" reached 3 billion streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, on the 23rd.
This achievement comes just 340 days after the release, making it a new record for a Korean album in the shortest time possible. It is also the first time for a Korean solo album to achieve this feat.
It is the only K-POP album to reach 3 billion on Spotify, and the only one released in 2024 to do so. JIMIN was on the US Billboard Hot 100 during his military service.
MUSE's title song "Who," which was on the "MU 100" chart for 33 weeks, is currently streaming a total of more than 1,791,620,000 times on Spotify, making it the No. 1 on the "MU
SE's streaming record. In addition, the fan song "Closer" was released after Jimin's enlistment in 2023 and was later included in the album.
"Than This" has now racked up over 283 million streams, "Be Mine" has 254 million, and "Smeraldo Garden Marching" has 100 million.
"Band" has exceeded 226 million streams, and four out of seven tracks on the "MUSE" album have exceeded 200 million streams.
In addition, on May 26, "Slow" reached 100 million streams on Spotify.
Following "Dance," "Rebirth" is currently at 96 million and is on the verge of reaching 100 million streams.
JIMIN's "Who" ranked 11th on the latest Spotify Global Chart (as of June 23rd), reaching 340 consecutive days of popularity.
In addition to continuing to make it onto the charts, the song has also reached number one on the Spotify Korean charts for the 336th time, demonstrating its ongoing immense popularity.
