ARUM, a former member of the South Korean girl group T-ARA, was given a suspended prison sentence on suspicion of child abuse and defamation, and her appeal was rejected.
According to the legal community on the 9th (today), the 6th-1st Criminal Division of the Suwon District Court dismissed the appeal filed by ARUM, who was indicted on suspicion of child abuse and defamation, last month.
ARUM slandered and damaged the reputation of Mr. A on LIVE STREAM after he was accused of emotionally abusing his ex-husband in front of their children and released the court ruling against his ex-girlfriend.
The court previously sentenced ARUM to eight months in prison, suspended for two years. It also ordered them to take a 40-hour child abuse prevention course. However, ARUM's side refused to accept this.
