Actor Cho Jung Seok received the 2025 Public Choice Actor of the Year Award at the 30th Consumer Day KCA Culture and Arts Festival held at the Science and Technology Museum in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 9th.
The Noh Awards ceremony was held. Cho Jung-Seok was selected as the "2025 Public Actor of the Year" for his role in the film "My Daughter Became a Zombie."
The KCA Culture and Arts Awards Ceremony is held every year to celebrate Consumer Day, when the KCA Korea Consumer Assessment presents the cultural content and major events that consumers have been paying attention to.
The awards ceremony spotlights various fields of the cultural industry that have contributed to the development of popular culture. The awards are based on TV viewership, movie attendance, OTT platform viewing index, SNS Hot Topic, and overseas platform.
The awards reflect the results of K-content's global reach, the viewing preferences of different generations, and public evaluations. Cho Jung Seok, who took the stage as the winner, said, "First of all,
"Thank you for this important award. The title 'Public Choice Actor of the Year' carries a lot of weight for me. I am truly overwhelmed with emotion," he said.
She continued, "I believe this award is a gift from the audience who loved the film 'My Daughter Became a Zombie.'
