"6DAYS," the music road movie that marks the band DAY6's first big screen venture, is set to be released in Korea in August, followed by a global release.
The film is co-produced by MBC and DEJONG FILM, and will be shown at CGV ICECON and CJ
The film is co-invested in and distributed by 4DPLEX. It goes beyond a simple concert report or travelogue.
The film is planned as a road movie that unfolds according to a scenario. After successfully completing their world tour, DAY6 departs for Los Angeles, USA, and spends six days there, capturing the free-spirited lives of young people.
The film depicts a journey through time, where the members encounter unexpected encounters and unexpected events in unfamiliar landscapes, and honestly reflect on each other as they approach their 10th debut anniversary.
The film is set against the backdrop of exotic scenery, and features DAY6's various playlists, street performance scenes, and even the members' candid stories, bringing an unforgettable summer to the screen.
In particular, the band's sound will be conveyed more vividly through sound optimized for the acoustics of movie theaters, and the band will play acoustic versions of songs newly arranged for this production.
The fans are excited that the film will be released in 2D, SCREEN X, 4DX, and ULTRA.
It has been decided that the film will be shown in a special 4DX theater.
The X screening will allow viewers to enjoy the performance scenes of DAY6 in a more realistic setting, set against the backdrop of vast and beautiful scenery.
The 4DX screening, which includes dynamic motion effects, will bring their band sound and road trip itinerary to life even more.
4DX screenings will allow viewers to enjoy the experience that can only be felt in a movie theater through the sense of realism of the movie theater. The main poster released shows the members running along an empty road.
The poster, which captures a free moment under the clear blue sky, raises curiosity about what story will unfold over the next six days, and depicts a page of youth that DAY6 will rewrite once again.
